Responsibilities

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Department is seeking Adjunct faculty to provide hands-on instruction in the state-of-the-art sonography lab for the Echocardiography Lab I course.  Course content includes introductory scanning techniques in the adult for the transthoracic echocardiogram protocol.  This is a four-hour, 15-week course that begins in the Fall, 2017 semester at the Worcester campus. Lab times are as follows:

 

  • Wednesdays, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Fridays, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Please note: Lab times may be adjusted to meet the needs and schedule of the instructor.

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • RDCS or RCS registry credential
  • A minimum of three years, full-time experience in a hospital environment

 Desired:

 

  • College level teaching experience in a CAAHEP programmatically accredited sonography program
