The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach in one or both of the following courses during the 2018 Spring semester, which begins on January 8, 2018 and concludes on April 27th. 


  • PTH 560 Standardized Measurement in PT Practice with lab.  Class will meet on Tuesdays, with lecture from 10-12 and two labs between 1:30-5:30.  This course involves instruction and application of the standardized outcome measures used in multiple physical therapy practice settings.
  • PTH 645 Evidence Based Practice IV.  This class is a lecture format and is currently scheduled on Thursdays. The course requires knowledge and experience with Evidence Based Practice.

Responsibilities include course preparation, instructional delivery, student grading, and record-keeping.


Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.




  • Current MA physical therapist licensure
  • A minimum of three to five years of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A commitment to graduate education
  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness
  • Ability to engage and motivate students in the Physical Therapy profession



  • DPT or an advanced degree or continuing education beyond entry level with higher education teaching experience
