The two-year fellowship at Apothecare Pharmacy, LLC in Brockton, MA is designed for pharmacists seeking a career in compounding pharmacy and developing skills in business management.  The Fellow will be introduced to the basics of business development as they apply to prescription compounding, and will gain experience in all areas of non-sterile compounding including formula selection and development, physician and patient consultation, regulations and compliance, and quality assurance, as well as teaching experience within the academic setting at MCPHS University and preceptor experiences at Apothecare.


Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.


Apothecare Pharmacy, LLC located in Brockton, MA is an independently-owned pharmacy focused on providing comprehensive services to patients with unique needs including those residing in assisted living, hospice, residential programs, rest homes, and the community.  The state-of-the-art non-sterile compounding room in compliance with USP chapters 795 and 800, allows for extensive prescription compounding experience as well as opportunities for expansion of compounding services. 




  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Program before July 1, 2018
  • Eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. throughout the duration of the two-year fellowship; no visa sponsorship will be provided.
