Responsibilities

The Campus Housing Manager is the public face of MCPHS housing options for students at the Worcester campus. MCPHS properties are apartment-style units of various sizes, price points and amenities. This position is responsible for achieving and maintaining full occupancy, and serves as the student resident advocate and liaison with facilities operations and management.  

 

  • Provide compelling descriptions of properties, amenities, features and benefits to prospective residents.
  • Meet with prospective renters and take them on tours of the units that interest them.
  • Contact prospective students and log all telephone, email, and in-person visits in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with prospective renters.
  • Work with facilities operations to explore flexible rental alternatives that would be of interest to prospective students.
  • Research and be knowledgeable about the Worcester-area apartment rental competitive environment, and develop an understanding of why some students do not take advantage of University housing.
  • Establish rapport with residents, provide personalized service, and maintain positive resident relations.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and follow up on a timely basis with residents and facilities management.
  • Ensure all maintenance repairs are handled satisfactorily by connecting with the resident.
  • Ensure units are ready for residents on move-in day.
  • Listen to resident requests, concerns and comments and escalate to the appropriate department.
  • Monitor and facilitate renewals and maintain high retention rates.
  • Oversee external vendors onsite service delivery.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated marketing and sales skills
  • Experience in previous relevant customer service
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service orientation

Desired:

 

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot a plus
  • Experience in higher education admissions a plus
