The Coordinator - Clinical Affiliations assists in updating current clinical agreements and seeks out and cultivates new clinical rotation sites for all disciplines.


  • Under the direction of the Senior Vice President for Advancement, work with the Legal department to review current affiliation agreements.
  • Contact all institutions where said agreements are in place to review for accuracy regarding content, signature, stipend and start/renew dates.
  • Work closely with all program directors and deans within the University to determine current and future rotation needs per discipline.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to assess the University’s needs per discipline.
  • Align with the CFO, Provost and President in determining proper stipend level per rotation.
  • Actively seek to identify and meet with decision-makers at hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities that present opportunities for rotations for MCPHS students.
  • Serve as a liaison between MCPHS University and senior decision-makers at institutions affiliated with MCPHS students.
  • Develop, manage and implement a tracking system for all affiliation agreements.
  • Act seamlessly with all legal, medical and financial personnel within the University as well as with the affiliated institutions.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Senior Vice President for Advancement.




  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Health Science and/or business discipline and relevant work experience with a minimum of five years in a medically-related field
  • Demonstrated health care business-related experience for a minimum of five years in a health care-related environment
  • Clinical knowledge of various disease states, as well as a working knowledge of the various procedures and disciplines involved in identifying such conditions
  • Managerial experience involving supervision and training of personnel
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Superior attention to detail in the performance of each assignment under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a collaborative manner
  • Computer literacy with particular proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to present formally and informally to both small and large audiences
  • Willingness to drive among facilities in Massachusetts and surrounding states
