    The Graduate Assistant - Campus Life - Operations works twenty hours per week to support the Associate Dean of Campus Life in the oversight and implementation of operations through the Center for Campus Life


    • Assist with the creation and implementation of department policies and procedures
    • Coordinate and assist with various aspects of the University-wide commencement program, including but not limited to: working with all three MCPHS University campuses, overseeing contracts and agreements from various vendors, and working with the Assistant Dean on all student communication
    • Create and maintain various advertisement campaigns for programs sponsored by the Center for Campus Life
    • Oversee the social media handles for the Center for Campus Life
    • Oversee the management of the Center for Campus Life Blackboard site
    • Assist with maintenance of department budgets and implementation of budget policies and procedures for both staff and student leaders within Campus Life
    • Assist with the advisement of the Student Government Association in collaboration with the Assistant Dean
    • Create content for, and oversee regular maintenance of, the Campus Life website
    • Assist with large scale campus wide programming including, but not limited to, Orientation, Family Weekend, Harvest Ball, International Education Week, Leadership Banquet and Commencement
    • Represent Campus Life on various institution wide committees and initiatives, including but not limited to: MCPHS Supports (LGBTQ interest committee), MCPHS First Flight (first generation committee), etc.

    Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Associate Dean of Campus Life 




    • Currently or will be pursuing a master’s degree in higher education and/or student affairs administration, education, counseling or related field concurrently while in the position.
