Adjunct Faculty laboratory instructors work with university faculty to provide assistance and guidance to and assess the work of students enrolled in the Summer Professional Practice Laboratory (PPP Lab) course in the accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum. The course duration is May 21st through July 27th, Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. Adjunct faculty are asked to commit to one lab session per week, ideally on the same day each week.


Additional hours are available for adjunct faculty able to stay for scheduled afternoon review sessions.




  • A minimum of a B.S. in Pharmacy
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed pharmacist in the U.S.
  • Active pharmacy license(s) in good standing wit respective Board(s) of Pharmacy
  • Knowledge of how a pharmacy works (e.g., drug dispensing, calculations, pharmacy law, communicating with patients and other healthcare providers, etc.)
  • Ability to work with computerized pharmacy systems and drug information databases
  • Good communication and teaching skills



  • Previous higher education teaching experience
  • Prior experience with a Professional Pharmacy Practice lab
