    Responsibilities

    The Assistant Director of Admission is responsible for recruitment for an assigned program/ geographic territory and meeting or exceeding application and enrollment targets.

     

    • Coordinate the planning and execution of the admission recruitment, application and yield activities for assigned populations.
    • Meet or exceed assigned enrollment targets.
    • Conduct extensive outbound calling campaigns and emails related to conversion and yield.
    • Conduct on and off-campus interviews and group presentations.
    • Review application credentials from assigned populations and make recommendation for admission decision.
    • Attend high school and community college events and conduct classroom presentations as assigned.
    • Meet with prospective students, parents, high school teachers and guidance counselors requiring extensive knowledge of University programs and admissions requirements.
    • Facilitate cooperative and collaborative relationships within the University community (i.e. academic departments/schools, student affairs, etc.).
    • Utilizing Salesforce CRM, assess strategies, data and trends to maximize meeting enrollment targets.
    • Communicate key differentiators of the University to all audiences.
    • 20-40% travel required based on assignments.
    • Evening/weekend/holiday work required.
    • Assists with special projects as assigned by the Director.
    • Serves as key member of the Admission Office.

    Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Required:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM
    • Demonstrated experience in higher education or relevant job experience meeting/exceeding goals
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills; must have strong presentation skills
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with prospective students and families, guidance counselors, and campus community
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment working effectively both independently and as a team member
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong customer focus and the ability to influence and close
