    Faculty of Pharmaceutical Business and Administrative Sciences (PBAS) provide didactic and experiential instruction via multiple formats (on campus, online, or in a ‘blended’ format) in the Pharmaceutical HealthCare Business (PHCB), PharmD and other programs within the PBAS department.


    • Schedules time for academic interactions with students through office hours, use of technology, and other University-approved mechanisms
    • Provides service related to PHCB majors, including student mentoring, ongoing course development, and assessment
    • Assists program director in developing the PHCB curriculum, including the internship program with domestic and global internship options
    • Serves as a member of University, School and/or Department committees, as assigned
    • Attends and participates in monthly School and Department meetings, University ceremonies, and other major events
    • Contributes to periodic reviews and revisions of departmental course offerings
    • Maintains advanced knowledge in discipline and areas of expertise
    • Builds and maintains relationships with professional organizations involved with the healthcare sector
    • Develops and maintains relationships with healthcare industry executives (including MCPHS University alumni) from across the full spectrum of global healthcare

    Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.


    Rank is commensurate with education and experience.




    • Master's degree in related discipline
    • Five or more years of work experience in pharmaceutical, device or healthcare business
    • Three to five years of teaching experience at the college level
    • Commitment to undergraduate education and student success
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Demonstrated leadership ability and entrepreneurial experience
    • Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents, including healthcare industry executives)
    • Record of scholarly activities commensurate with an academic appointment
    • Evidence of potential for continuing professional development
    • Evidence of teaching excellence



    • Terminal degree in related disciplne
