    Responsibilities

    The Graduate Clinical Coordinator and Assessment Coordinator reports to the Dean of Nursing-Worcester/Manchester, and manages the operations and relationships concerning clinical placements for the graduate nursing tracks and also coordinates assessment activities for the School of Nursing.

     

    Manage operations of graduate clinical placements (approximately 75% of work schedule):

    • Onboard all students and preceptors as per University and School requirements.
    • Oversee and manage the processes for student clinical rotations, including facilitating site-specific paperwork, clearing students for rotations, disseminating rotation information to necessary parties, initiating and overseeing the clinical evaluation process, and serving as a resource to all stakeholders involved in clinical placement.
    • Serve as E*Value administrator.
    • Correspond with faculty, students, and clinical partners regarding clinical experiences.
    • Ensure that student clinical evaluations, site evaluations, adjunct evaluations, etc. are collected and maintained in appropriate files
    • Develop and maintain tracking databases

    Coordinate assessment activities for the School of Nursing (approximately 25% of work schedule):

    • Collect and analyze data based on accreditation standards and the Program Evaluation Plan
    • Manage and provide formative and summative data that is needed for decision making
    • Develop and maintain quality improvement dashboards
    • Collaborate with School faculty and staff along with University stakeholders on data collection, validation, and accuracy of data used for reporting

    Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Dean.

    Qualifications

    Required:

     

    • A bachelor’s degree
    • Three years of work experience
    • Strong organizational, administrative, and database skills
    • Ability to respond effectively and sensitively to inquiries and concerns
    • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

    Desired:

     

    • Prior experience in a health care or a higher education setting
