    Responsibilities

    The School of Physical Therapy invites applications for Adjunct Faculty to supervise Doctor of Physical Therapy students during Integrated Clinical Education in the Fall 2018 semester.  The time commitment to oversee a group therapeutic exercise group for individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injury is a maximum of four hours per week.   The group will meet twice weekly for two hours from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.

     

    Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Required:

     

    • Current MA physical therapist licensure
    • A minimum of three to five years clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • A commitment to graduate education
    • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness
    • Ability to engage and motivate students in the Physical Therapy profession

    Desired:

     

    • An advanced degree / continuing education beyond entry level with higher education teaching experience and clinical specialization
