    The two-year fellowship at Apothecare Pharmacy, LLC in Brockton, MA is designed for pharmacists seeking a career in compounding pharmacy and developing skills in business management.

    Responsibilities

    The Fellow will be introduced to the area of pharmaceutical compounding and will be immersed into the workflow of the compounding lab, taking on escalating responsibilities that will cultivate abilities in coherent formulation design, quickly adapting to new priorities, ascertaining and recommending appropriate therapeutic alternatives, and targeting timely completion of preparations through personnel management.  Training will be provided in inventory purchasing and management, non-sterile compounding techniques, and policy creation and implementation. In addition, the Fellow will gain experience in teaching within the academic setting at MCPHS University and develop skills to train students, technicians, and employees in all areas of non-sterile compounding and formula development. 

     

    Additional responsibilities, consistent with the fellowship, may be assigned by the supervisor.

     

    Apothecare Pharmacy, LLC located in Brockton, MA is a rapidly growing independent pharmacy specialized in servicing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities residing in community-based settings.     Qualifications

    Required:

     

    • Completion of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Program before July 1, 2019
    • Eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. throughout the duration of the two-year fellowship; no visa sponsorship will be provided.
