This two-year fellowship at Apothecare Pharmacy, LLC in Brockton, MA will develop graduate pharmacists in the area of pharmacy operations.
The Fellow will be immersed into the workflow of the pharmacy floor - taking on escalating responsibilities that will cultivate abilities in purposefully assigning work tasks, quickly adapting to new priorities, making fiscally-driven decisions, and efficiently resolving problems. Training in inventory purchasing and management, reimbursement trend analysis, and policy creation and implementation will be included. In addition, the Fellow will gain experience in teaching within the academic setting at MCPHS University and develop skills to train students, technicians, and employees in all areas of pharmacy operations.
Additional responsibilities, consistent with the fellowship, may be assigned by the supervisor.
