New England School of Acupuncture seeks adjunct faculty to teach the course in Chinese Herbal Medicine: Clinical Pharmacology in the Master of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (MAOM) program during the Spring 2019 semester from 1/7/2019 – 4/26/2019. The course addresses pharmacologic actions, clinical applications and safety issues of herbs.
Provide educational instruction to master’s students in Chinese Herbal Medicine including:
Provide academic counseling or opportunities for additional assignment for students at risk for poor academic performance
Expert knowledge of clinical pharmacology of Chinese herbs
Previous teaching experience preferred at college level
Knowledge of student-centered teaching methods preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
