  • Overview

    The School of Optometry invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the area of Ophthalmic Optics.


    This skilled educator will participate in didactic and laboratory teaching, and provide instruction in the Ophthalmic Optics course within the curriculum during the summer semester.  Teaching will include lecture and lab focusing on ophthalmic optics, including frames and ophthalmic lens dispensing.






    • A terminal professional degree (OD/MD, Ph.D. or MPH)
    • Evidence of experience in topic area, such as research, publications, graduate or other work
    • Teaching experience




    • Evidence of the use of advanced techniques promoting learning
    • Evidence of ability to relate effectively to students and professional colleagues (e.g., awards, student evaluations)
